third parties acting on its behalf for customer

If you do not wish to receive
any direct marketing from the NREP, please inform us

NREP programs. The NREP will
provide only aggregated data from analyses to
affiliated third parties. NREP
reserves the right to use your IP address to help

As the NREP is a certification and
registry organization based in the

the NREP- and third parties acting on its behalf -
in accordance with, and for the purposes set out in
this Privacy Policy. If you do

Your
Rights
The NREP is a certification and registry
organization and maintains information on those who
possess its certifications, are included in its
professional registry, or have expressed an interest
in either certification or registry privileges.
The NREP requires its certificants and
registrants to accept "official communications"
relating to their certification as a condition of
that certification, as noted in the NREP program
applications. If you would like
to see the information that the NREP retains about
you or would like to be removed from the NREP
database or registry, please write to us at the
address below. Be aware
that if you possess any NREP certification and
request to be removed from its database, you will
correspondingly lose your certification.
Likewise, if you use NREP certification as
part of your resume or in support of professional
experience, the NREP will not be able to provide
support for claims relating to the NREP
certifications or registry information if you
request removal.
The NREP will provide a copy of your personal
information, upon receipt of an administration fee
of $35.00. Additionally, without
charge, and upon written request, the NREP will
update/correct personal information previously
submitted which you believe to be inaccurate.
Requests regarding your personal
information may be sent to:

Third
Parties
Occasionally, the NREP outsources administration and
other functions to contractors.
In such cases, the NREP ² may provide these third
parties with contact information for the sole
purpose of performing NREP- sanctioned tasks under
the supervision of NREP employees.
These contractual relationships specifically
address the manner in which they may use contact
information and that they may not copy or
disseminate that information or use it for any
purpose other than that specified in the contract.
Additionally, upon termination
of the contract, all contractors are required to
return all information to the NREP and destroy any
printed materials that they might possess.
NREP
Registry
As a service to the general public and NREP
certificants and registrants, the NREP publishes, on
the public side of its Website, a registry listing
of certificate holders and non-certified
registrants. Listing in this
directory is entirely voluntary. Those
who elect to be listed should be aware that when
they voluntarily disclose personally identifiable
information on certification/registration
applications that is included in a the NREP
Registration record, such information along with any
substantive information disclosed in the
certification/registration application will be
provided ONLY if authorized by the
registrant/certificant to third parties, such as
employers. The NREP registry
contains ONLY first and last names, middle initials,
current state/province of residence, and NREP
certification titles held. The
State of residence is indicated to help
differentiate between registrants with the same or
similar name.
The NREP is sometimes asked by an employer or
outside agent to attest to claims of NREP
certification or registration, and that the NREP has
evidence to support Registry claims. To
that end, the NREP will provide ONLY the
certificant/registrant name, date of certification,
and current certification status to requesters.
If you are a NREP Certificant/Registrant and
do not wish to be identified as such to your
employer or outside agent, you must indicate on your
application that you wish to “opt-out” of the
Registry related services. At
any time you may change your security opt-in or out
choices by contacting the NREP by USPS
correspondence, or via email at
securitypolicy@nrep.org.
Opt-Out
The NREP is a certification and registry
organization and, as such, must maintain contact
information in order to communicate relational or
transactional information called “official
communications.” The NREP also
sends promotional material concerning conferences,
education opportunities, or other related offerings.
From time to time, the NREP collaborates with
other organizations and government agencies to
promote other programs that may be of interest to
environmental professionals and NREP certificants
and registrants. In
such cases, the NREP provides these organizations
with name, address, and email contact information
only, to those who have elected to receive such
information. If,
at any time, you do not wish to receive marketing
material, you may indicate your choice on your
application, by notifying the NREP in writing at the
address below, or via email at
securitypolicy@nrep.org.
This does not include opting-out of NREP information
communications concerning annual meetings,
newsletters, notices concerning annual maintenance
fees, certification status, recertification, or
transactional notices, which are referred to as
"official" communications.
You will be provided with an opportunity to
opt-in or out of NREP communications on the NREP
Program Applications, as follows:
p
I
give my permission for the NREP to include my

and to send me all

any registry or certifications held with the NREP)
p
I
give my permission for the NREP to post my name,
state/province of residence, and
certification title(s)
information on the NREP Registry.
p
I

who
